Acetyl-L-carnitine for Rads fatigue?

Options

What dosage Acetyl-L-carnitine do I need during radiotherapy to ward off fatigue?  Is Acetyl-L-carnitine the same as L-carnitine?

Thanks.

I bought it for radiation, too.  I was told by my naturalpath to take 1 teaspoon in water or juice two times per day.  But it made me rather ill.  I researched it online and found that it is more used for neuropathy (nerve damage due to chemo).  I didn't do chemo, so I stopped taking it.

    Hope that helps!

Oh! I took Glutamine for neuropathy during chemo.  I have just started Carnitine prior to Rads 5th May.  In what way were you ill?

I read that Carnitine is also good for fibromyalgia and memory so am taking it for that as well.

    500 mg twice a day.

Don't now about using it for Rads, but was told to use it for my neuroapathy and it seems to be helping
