When can I post threads without limitation?
I've registered for one week already but I am still not allowed to post more than 3-4 threads everyday. Each day after I posted 3-4 threads, I got warning message that I can't post any threads in 24 hours any more.
Can anybody help me to remove this limitation? I am just recently dx as BC and do have lots of questions to ask.
Help!
Thanks.

My understanding is that once you get up to 50 posts, the limit is removed. Unfortunate, this limit had to be imposed because we used to get overrun with spammers, including very nasty obscene robot-spammers, which made the Board inaccessible to everyone. I don't think you have a limit on Private Messages, so you could always send PMs to posters who have answered your questions, and ask them more questions -- or ask THEM to post your questions?
I hope you get your 50 posts soon, and then can post as much as you want.
Hugs,
Ann
P.S. The limit right now is 5 posts per day -- I can see that you had 5 posts on April 23. I would suggest that on a day when you don't have many questions, just make your 5 posts anyway, on any topic, and you'll soon be up to 50.

I have a friend(in her 50's) in northern New Jersey, who has no medical insurance and cannot afford to go to a Doctor for help. Does anyone know how to find help for her?

Hi, AnnNYC,
Thanks.
Sometimes when I saw any important posts that I wanted to ask question, then got warning msg saying I can't post any threads anymore today.....so I always reserved my quota to ask Qs to something really important to me....
I like posting public msg more than PM so I can get more responses than just from one person.
Seems during this period I have to achieve my quota first. -
Hi QAnna,
I know it's hard, it doesn't seem fair, and it doesn't seem to make sense (unless you had been here to see how the awful spammers could make the board ugly and unusable for a couple of days last summer
). But I hope you get to 50 posts soon -- maybe after 10 PM, if you haven't hit 5 posts for the day, then you could say a few "hellos", and you'll get to 50 sooner. Crazy to have to worry about a numbers game at a time like this...
Hugs,
Ann

DVBrown ~ One of the members on this website has put together an incredible resource list. Since your question is a bit hidden in this thread and I'm afraid she may not come across it, let me give you a link to it for her: http://bb67.wikispaces.com/
Hope this helps. Deanna
