Okay, I went to the dentist yesterday and discussed what's been happening again [and still] to my teeth. I did ask him what he thought about chemo causing all these problems and he didn't think so. Especially eight years out like I am. He said cancer treatment that would cause these extensive problems would more likely happen with head cancers and radiation treatment. However, he did say that all the literature now points to Fosamax. And if I were to go to an oral surgeon one of the first questions he would ask would be about Fosamax. And he finds it hard to believe that this company has won any lawsuits in view of all this. So, if you're on this med or one like this, it might be best to do as much research as you can and present any adverse results to your doctor and dentist. No, I'm not saying file a lawsuit, even though there are plenty out there. But we apparently have to watch out for ourselves since the drug companies too often care most about their bottom line. I am happy for those that it has really helped. I just wish there had been more honesty.

Did not notice your message dated March 10th . Yes swapping services makes it cheaper. I was not sure if Femara caused dry mouth because I'm on other meds that do. Some dentist don't seem aware of the problems withe Fosamax you are right. For me the dental problems started less than a year after treatment, I think it's from Nexium with Femara. I will be reading a lot before I decide about Fosamax, thanks for the uptdate
