I was just diagnosed with IDC and had a bi-lateral mastectomy because of family history. My oncologist wants to put me in a clinical trial using either TAC (taxotere, adriamycin, cytoxan) chemotherapy or just TC (taxotere and cytoxan). I do not have a choice which treatment I will be on. I read that adriamycin is not effective in treating HER2 negative cancer. Comments? My Oncotype Test recurrence rate is 45.
