undecided about chemo

I was told that If I degide to do chemo it would be 4 treatments every 3 weeks. My ? is... Are you sick the whole time or to you feel better between each treatment. my DX score was 21 and he said that it is a coin toss so now it is up to me. going crazy about not knowing what to do. One time I dont want it and other times I do!!!! Sealed

    brenda63, Each person reacts differently to chemo. I had very few side effects. First few days after chemo I felt out of sorts but still did all usual activities with some resting in between. I took the week I had chemo off(not because I was sick - just didn't want to deal with work) and then worked full time for 2 weeks until the next round was due.

    It is a tough and personal decision. My Oncotype DX was 28 and my onc strongly encouraged me to do chemo - so the decision was easier for me.
