Before my two mastectomies, I use to weigh between 137 and 140 and was a 36DD. I managed to pack on 25+ pounds during chemo and all the down time between my 5 surgeries. For the past 2 months, I have been going to the gym 5 days a week and attending Yoga classes 2 days a week. So far I have lost 13 pounds! So...without two breasts, what would my "ideal weight" be? How much did my breasts weigh and do I now need to lose more weight because I no longer have them???

I'm just wondering if I'm the only nut case who thinks of these things...

My sisters asked me how much weight I lost after my bilateral mastectomy. . . so you are not the only nut case who thinks of these things.

I was about 12 pounds lighter immediately following surgery.  So that means my ddd boobs weighed about six pounds each. I've since gained about 4 pounds, which I attribute to tamoxifen and mild le.  I am exercising regularly and not eating too much, but my weight isn't budging.  Ah well, at least my weight seems to be stable...

My path report after mx had the weight of the breast removed ( in grams). It wasn't enough to change my "ideal" weigh-, I was small.  Rather than shoot for a weight, what size or fitness level feels right to you? I just keep watching my body change, it seems to be so much more than just the weight. Yeah I'd like to lose 10 pounds, but I'd really like to lose the little stomach bump

I had a failed TRAM in January of 2008. My stomach scar looks like a very crooked smiley face with dog ears that stick out. Quite lovely...NOT! Because of the way the PS shaped my lower stomach, whenever my stomach bloats, it bloats out sideways, way up high. Between the flat chest, sideways bloating stomach and dog eared smiley face, I have decided to have scar revision in October. Since I have chosen not to reconstruct I've decided a little clean up is in order.

As my body shape changes, I want to be able to wear lower cut pants without my "ears" popping over the top. I see my old size 9 pants in my future...that's my goal!

My sister had her "dog ears" fixed by her PS. Is that an option for you?
