Miltex

Options

I am somewhat unfamiliar with navigating this website - so please excuse me if I need to check this out in some other way.

With my oncologist's permission, I sent my application to Germany for Miltex to use on 3 small skin sites.  It has been about a month and I have not heard from them.  I don't know if there is a process involved to be approved.

Can anyone lend any insight into this?  Thank you.

You may want to post your question on the ibcsupport.com site.  Have you tried Aldara?  This is kind of the same thing and you can get it with prescription at your local pharmacy.

I've had good response with this.

Wow - thank you for getting back to me so quickly.  I have not heard of Aldara at all.  Any place you can refer me to for more info?  And did you get prescription from your oncologist?

    Thanks again - very much.

You do need to see your oncologist for prescription.  My doctor really preferred this because he said Miltex burns really bad going on.  Aldara you do not have any side effects.  A fellow ibc lady getting treated at MD Anderson was prescribed this so you may let your doctor know that MDA IBC clinic is using this.  I think if you start failing with this you than use Miltex. Not sure?

Thank you again - I am going to see him soon because I can't wait for the Miltex - getting too antsy.  Maybe it will come later....but in the meantime, I will check on the Aldara.
