Hi all.

We're producing a documentary about African Americans & Breast Cancer for a national cable network.    The goal of this project is to disseminate information and offer a call to action for African Americans as it relates to this health challenge.

We're looking for ladies in Dallas,  Los Angeles, and the DC/Baltimore area who are in the diagnosis or treatment phase.   We would like to interview you on camera about your experience and allow the camera to go with you to a consultation or treatment.   Through your story, many other women can gain insight and motivation to be pro-active about their health.

If you're interested and willing to share your experience,  please email us at bcdocumentary@rubyredinc.com. Thanks for your consideration.

    Jamieb247,

I think this is wonderful that a documentary about African Americans and Breast Cancer  is being produced. I hope some  ladies will respond.  Oprah had a segment on one time, about a lady going through a day at Chemo--my Mom (passed away 6 yrs ago this month) at that time was able to get to see what I had been going through.  People  don't have a clue, unless they are going through this with some one.   Thanks, Thanks Thanks!!!

Certainly that women can gain insight and be pro-active about their health too.

    Best of luck!!

Thanks for the positive feedback Linda.    We'll be sure to post when and where this documentary airs.  Take care.

    Peace and blessings to you.
