They run fast and they are smart --- calculated.... very good at dodging you...

Oh ya, pigs actually are really intelligent animals.

Hahahah Checkum. Pigs is fun. I loved Charlotte's Web too. I think that's one reason I love pigs and don't kill spiders.

-
ooooo I need you arnie!
she's being mean! saying I shouldn't post about personal things cause it's not "all about me"! but hey, the poster asked a question! she didn't want stats she wanted real life experiences.....I feel bad..
-
I did block her but of course now I'm wondering what she is saying! I saw someone else talking about "highjacking" on another thread and apologizing, but of course the poster doesn't see it as a highjack, she sees it as input, which IS WHAT IT IS!......sigh. PEOPLE!
-
barbe... last night I was at a barbecue at my nieces house and one of my great nieces, Ella whose 2 now, was born without her arm beneath her elbow. (amniotic band sydrome) Anyway, a 6 year old brat of a boy kept making fun of her...even though her dad, my nephew and I kept telling him it wasn't her fault, even using Nemo, the little fish with one large fin and one small fin as an example. When his parents learned what he was doing they're response was, "Boys will be boys" He'll be the type someday to give everyone grief.
-
You got that JO
-

Ella actually does really well... she does have a prothesis but prefers not to wear it. She does everything any other child does but differently. She's a very happy little girl

-
Awwhhh.......big (((((((((((((hugs))))))))) Barbe!! And big hugs for Ella!! I don't like bullies!!!
-
OHHHHHHHHH Arnie!!! She's so beautiful!!! Wish I could give her a hug:)
Edit: I know!!!!!! Pic at the top of the page:)
Looks like somebody's trying an escape

As the terrible person who "beat" Barbe up in a PM, let me be very clear in saying that I was a very reluctant participant in all this. Barbe sent me a PM (not the other way around). She asked me a question and I tried to avoid answering with specificity precisely because I didn't want to beat up on her. Barbe responded with another PM in which she baited me. So I answered the question that she asked me. Not one nasty word was written, just the facts as I saw them, which was precisely what Barbe asked me to tell her. So if Barbe didn't like my answer, she shouldn't have asked the question - and then pressed again in a 2nd PM for an answer. I ended my PM saying that I had no interest in continuing to exchange PMs. I have no desire to beat up on anyone. I simply gave my opinion when asked.
And by the way, in the diagnosis and treatment forums, I think that relating personal experiences is very important, so long as the experiences are relevant to the question asked. When they take the discussion in another direction that has nothing to do with the concerns of the individual who started the thread, I think efforts should be made to refocus the discussion back onto the original question. This is wrong? Additionally, since there is so much medical advice being thrown around on this board, I also think it's important to provide as much factual information as possible, so stats and quotes from medical sources are important too. I would think most people would agree with that.
Okay, I will leave this thread now and head back to the diagnosis and treatment forums where I usually spend my time, trying as best I can to offer support and reassurance and good advice. You can all talk about me now and say how terrible I am. At least it's no longer under cover and behind my back. If I'm going to be insulted, mocked and lied about, I'd rather that it be done openly.
Sorry for the intrusion in your thread.
p.s. I notice that Barbe mentioned that she's being beaten up "again" in PMs. I've never sent her a PM before today so anything that's happened before today - or after today - has nothing to do with me.
-
LADIES!!!!! PLEASE.....
"Anything goes, EXCEPT causing anyone more stress in their lives
... so be cool!" -
oh Arnie - what a doll! Any parent that does not teach their child to be compasionate is a moron!
