Taking a break from the group
Dearest Sisters, I posted this on "Moving Beyond," also.....
I need to take a break from our group for a little while. It's important to my husband and marriage that I stop obsessing over my health and cancer beasts. I will check in, but I need to just step back for a bit. The 3 major health scares have really taken a toll on dh and I, and he just needs me to stop worrying about my health. It makes him worry, and I can't have that.
I love you all so very much, and I promise I will be back.
Love and prayers, Deb

Hi Deb.....A very necessary move and what you need to do.
I, too, took a lengthy break from this site quite some time back because it was all becoming too much. It seemed as if cancer was ruling my life. That is when it's time to step away a bit. It's bad enough when doctor appointments - labs - etc. take over.....we have no control over what we MUST do but occupying much of our free time with this "stuff" isn't healthy.
I, too, came back but I was then at a different place. The fears of recurrence and "controling" this disease were over - well - as over as you can be and I found it was a nice place to visit - to interact and to be a support to others who are just beginning. Afterall, a sweeter group of women could not be found.

Enjoy your time away.......love that dh of yours and the two of you celebrate your healing.
Look forward to seeing you back one day,
Mary Jo

Just wanted to add to my favorite topics so had to type something to save that.

I wish you peace and good health, Deb. I've taken breaks from here, too, for sanity purposes. Take care of yourself and your family.
We'll leave the light on for you.
Anne
