Anyone else have them?  It started yesterday at the gym, like a sharp stabbing pain, then went away, then i woke up in the night with them.  Guess i should call my onc sigh!  I have a busy day today, by BF is here and only here today and tomorrow!!  Last time I saw her i was in chemo and really sick, I was hoping to enjoy my day today!!

Anyone else had these?  There like  a stabbing pain.

I had a tightening of the chest while on herceptin that felt like a stabbing sensation, my echo/muga scans were absolutely fine during all my treatment (finished dec 08) but I clearly remember having them as they would knock the breath out of me, I never mentioned this to my oncologist as the sensation came and went in a very short space of time and there wasn't a particular time of day or pattern to why they might have happened.   They have stopped since completing herceptin, you might want to mention it to your onc, it would be interesting to here what he/she has to say.

One other issue I had was my heart racing like mad, this occured late at night although it was usually a day after treatment and the nurse told me this was due to the amount of fluid pumping around my heart.

Hope you have a fantastic day with your BF, try not to let worry rob you of precious time with people you love!  Enjoy your day!

i feel a heaviness in my chest that I only get with herceptin infusion and for a few days later.  I haven't mentioned it  to onc though.

I get them to - along with rib pain.  My oncologist considers this pain to be pretty common and not to worry about them give that my blood pressure and MUGA scans are fine.

Thanks everyone, I called the doc, and they wern't too worried.  Said it could be from exercising, or a gas bubble trapped (nice!!!)  I'm gonna go buy some tums!!!!!

Thats great, glad you got such a prompt response from your doctor, makes all the difference when there's something like that on your mind.  So happy you got it sorted!
