IBC took my mom away from us
Hi everyone Dave from Des Moines Iowa back on Feb.26th my mother passed. I never thought it would end so fast. Well her time came and I am glad she is not suffering anymore IBC is really really bad like most cancer it is bad but I sat there and watched this aggressive cancer just beat the hell out of my mom. The cancer got so bad that it was starting to come out of the body sores and for someone having to see that each day is jsut so cruel. Well I want to thank all of you that had helped me through this when I had questions. I am very thankful that there is a forum like this to help people like me. I want to add that dont take cancer for granted if u are a loved one is sick make sure u spend a lot of time with them and say the things u need to say to them before it is too late. There were things I wanted to so say and hear back that I didnt and that is difficult but yet u dont want bother or upset that person. It was really tricky and delicate thing to go through I hope I never have to do that again. My mom will be missed. Thanks again if anyone wants to chat or has a facebook i would be glad to chat with you. God Bless

Dear Dave,
I am so sorry for the loss of your mom .. and to such a horrible, cruel disease. I am glad for you and she both that her suffering is over. I just wish it never had to happen.
My dad died six weeks ago of esophageal cancer. I was so happy to fly out and be able to spend a few days with him just before he died. We were able to say things then, that had never been said, and it comforts me today and will always comfort me.
Love,
Bren

Dave,
I am so sorry for your loss. My mom is battling this disease too and it is so hard to stand by and feel so helpless. I know that she was glad to have you there and actions speak volumes more than words.

I am saddened for your loss, but I know that your mother is in a better place, where she is no longer suffering. Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us.
