Juicing books

Anybody know of a good juicing recipe book? I get carried away on my own and keep creating green sludgelike juices that are not very tasty. I need some recipes that will motivate me to juice more often, not drive me away! Help!

Ladies wanted to pass this on.  I purchased a VitaMix (there are less expensive commercial blenders) and we are drinking green smoothies.  I prefer this over juicing as you get all the fruit over just the juice.  I know there is a bit of differing views on the point Juicing vs whole food including the pulp but I am REALLY feeling amazing.  Lots of benefit to greens, I google individual greens and was amazed.  I do a banana and either frozen organic straberries, pineapple, mango etc... combined with one or more of the following spinach, kale, parsley, romaine or any other green veggie.  Thought I'd pass it on.  I read "Green For Life" by Victoria Boutenko.  I don't eat a raw diet but I am really feeling good since starting them.  Feel free to PM me if you'd like.  You can also go to www.vitamix.com and they have a bunch of info.  But like I said you can get less expensive blenders....

    Have a great daySmile

    Hi Susie,

Finally someone besides me who blends their juices.  I've had my VitaMix for about a 1 1/2 years. I love it!  Also read Green for Life and have made my juicing 70% greens.

Can you believe how good they are?  I was completely blown away that something green could taste that good!  Is Green for Life a book?

    Susie & Flalady,

I hear you on the Vitamix blender!   Here, here!  I love mine and make green smoothies regularly.  I used to just juice (followed much of what I read in Natalia Rose's book, the Raw Detox Food Diet), but I found that green smoothies was better for me as it provided more fiber.  I'm not totally raw, perhaps about 65-70% daily, but I too, feel great with with juicing.  Love my greens!
