After going through the craziest year of my life my husband promised to take me on the biggest vacation of our lives...EUROPE!!!!

Has anyone else gone on a very well needed vacation after all your treatments were over?

Where did you go?

We want to go to Italy. Its got so much to offer. For some reason I'm leaning towards Tuscany and the Amalfi Coast. Anyone who's been there done that ...I'd love to hear any feedback.

Thanks,

Ninel

    Ninel...

My husband and 3 year old are going to europe as well this summer.!!

Italy is deffinatly beautiful...but Croatia is gorgeous! You can fly from Italy to Croatia and it takes maybe an hour...guessing. If you look on a map you will see that Croatia is just across the Balkan sea on the other side.

I'll be in the Balkan region...Croatia, Bosnia, Serbia and then Greece for 2 weeks.

All in totall we are going for 2 months but we have family there to stay with, so the costs are down. I would highly recommend renting a car where ever you go. So you can see the country sides of where ever you plan on going.

All in all...anywhere in europe is good..especially the Mediterranean. Very exciting to be ably to do this one in a life time trip. I hope you can get a lot out of it!

Oh and the night life.......doesn't end untill people leave! Cafe's / bars are open till about 6am!

OH YES.   My surgery and treatment ended the end of 2006.

South Pacific.  2007 and 2008 Society Islands and Cook Islands.

Sailing two months in the South Pacific 2008 with a fantastic host family who owned the Cat.  Returning in the fall of 2009.

It renews my soul and spirit.  It's my life line.

I've traveled Europe several times over the years and love that too.  Haven't been to Croatia and really want to get there.  I'm like a homing pigeon these days though and head straight for our magical island.

Have a wonderful wonderful time on your trip.   Take a million pictures and when you return home put some around the house to take you instantly back to your favorite places.

    I can't wait.
