Did I hear correctly??
Isn't this the year of the rabbit???
Thought I caught the TAIL end of that announcement while I was walking the treadmill yesterday.
If so, this is surely OUR year!
Hip hop, hippity, hop hop!!!

OHH crap my daughter just called she wants me to go dress shopping this weekend for a dress for me to wear to her wedding.I am not ready for this.I have a huge belly,no boobs and hate trying clothes on. Now where in the world did I put my Foobies.
-
I am a DOG.

I wasn't on here for a little while. I was in so much pain Wednesday night I took a long acting Oxycontin. Yesterday morning I woke up to being nauseous and dizzy, only to be exacerbated by movement - any kind of movement! Feeling a lot better but not 100% (when was I ever 100%)!
Shiny ... I said you were super mom and you are! It is funny t that life going on around us that pushes us to move forward no matter how we feel. Your DH sounds like a wonderful husband and father.
Barbe ... I tried Neurotin - made me throw up.
Mum ... I know the feeling. Boy, the belly did not feel so big when I had boobs! Now, in silhouette it looks 10 times bigger and is the only thing sticking out.
BTW, cousin, his wife, and their son came over to have his stitches removed - screamed like a banchee the whole time - even when she put a bandaid on. The poor little tyke. Good thing my sister goes through this all the time at the hospital ... it wasn't a challenge for her to remove stictches from a screaming, wiggling child. When finished he calmed right down. Once, my sister was removing stitches from a kid who had to be papoosed (wrapped up so he could not move his arms or legs) and he resorted to spitting at her (it was his only weapon left)!
Yes, it is the year of the rabbit so we all should do well in 2011!
If he can survive the attack of the killer dog.
-
Mum. I hope that your shopping expedition goes better than you can imagine.
Our bodies present some unique challenges on a typical day -- but when the stakes are high and ya want the perfect attire, it's a bigger challenge for sure.
Let us know how it turns out.
Kathleen, hope that you're better all the time.
You, too: Shiny, Arnie, Barbe, Sharon, Dream, Coonie..... the whole lot of us bunnies have an array of issues, that's for sure.

I got a cup of coffee figuring I would be reading for quite some time to catch up - where is everyone?
Faith ... thanks for the well wishes. I am feeling quite a bit better.
Sunday we celebrated my other cousin's little girl's 5th birthday. There were sugar highs and over stimulated children everywhere!
Today is Elvis' birthday. How's that for trivial?
-
afternoon all...sorry I have been away for a while, been feeling down, overwhelmed, don't know what to do or how to start
. Have oopherectomy set for Feb 14 so all the pre op stuff is getting done and of course what should be easy is turning complicated. sigh. Would love to just curl up under the covers and stay there for a while.
No housework, exactly but some decluttering happening in my house...makes me feel good to throw stuff out, less to trip on and less to clean around. Amazing how much stuff can be gathered and never used! Maybe I can pack up some of this stuff for when children move out.
Nap time for me. Hoping everyone is feeling well, no aches or pains or stomache germs.

Hi all my dust bunny friends!.....I FINALLY have my puter back!....Too many pages to read back in ome sitting....Will try to read some later tomorrow.......Hope you all are well......Hubby still not working...Now going for ECT for depression 3 times a week......Prayers are most welcome........
Elaine, good luck Monday........I had an ooph 4 years ago and it was really not that bad...Are you having lapro surgery or conventional?.........With lapro it is a breeze after the first week or so............
-
EWB ... sorry to hear you have been down. My first inclination when in doubt is to climb into bed and pull the covers over my head too! I'm sure you will be fine. Will pray for you. Take care.
Lucy ... how good to hear from you again!!!!!!!! Sorry to hear about DH - you have my prayers, always will.
Everyone please say a prayer for our friend's husband Wayne. He had coleorectal cancer which responded so well to chemo and surgery only to have it come back with a vengence - this time in both lungs and liver. Its aggressive. He's only 40.
-
EVERYONE is in my prayers!!! Lucy, good to see you back, we've missed you...
-
Wow. Ol' Time Bunnies back in the hutch.
(((((((((((((((EWB))))))))))))))
((((((((((((((Holly))))))))))))))))
(((((((((((Coonie))))))))))))))))
Bunnies, Our Coonie has had a loss in her home. Her doggie-pal "Lucky" crossed the caring bridge yesterday. I put something up on her Cutie thread, but wanted everyone here to know, too, just in case you didn't see it over there.
Ever onward bunnies.
We deserve time to hide under the covers -- that's for sure, but the sunshine is out here on this side.
xx00xx00xx00xx
Strength and courage.
Strength and courage.
Strength and courage.
And prayers all around.

So sorry Coonie ((hugs)))
-
I don't wanna say so sorry, because I know it will tear you up when you read all the posts of condolences. A pet becomes a special part of your family and I CAN imagine how you are feeling. Much love at this horrid time, sweetie.

-
Thank you dear bunnies for your thoughts and kind words.
My heart is heavy but my Lucky is out of pain.
Life goes on
..........I guess.
(((hugs to all of you)))

((((((((Coonie)))))))
Your Lucky was indeed lucky to have you as a human 'Mom'.
-
Coonie,
Feeling for you lovey. I am sure that the fact that Lucky is not suffering anymore gives you a bit of comfort, but I know your loss is great. I send you my hugs and understanding at this time.
I also totally echo what Jayne said.. Lucky was sooo lucky to have you!
hug.

Hang in there EWB, do it your way, what ever works, buried under the covers ofr the weekend, or going for a foot massage or generally being incredibly nice and indulgent with yourself, or just letting others do any chores they can for you, so you can regroup.
You are very strong, even when you don't know it.
hug. I will be thinking of you next week.

love your sense of humour girls!
Am in bed resting my feet. Done all am going to manage today. Been a silly busy bee. Too busy! DH here, and all are happy and fed, so nothing for me to do except recuperate from my week. Oh,,and talking of hot flashes muma..I had the menopause once for a year with chemo, then they came back, I remember the hot flushes!! Now.. am having a month long period..ahh the joys. Giving it 2 more weeks then off to the nurse. I could get on the pill but have 45 pounds to loose, so that would not help.
Me Lemon, you, great.... I know am early girls,
but.. Happy Saint Valentine's day to all my lovely bunnie friends.
