Could turkey exercise means quitting straight forward at once.just like walking up after a night's sleep and diciding not to smoke anymore. Ear accupunture is the most common form on the accupunture treament to help quit smoking.Often, small ear seeds can be placed with tap over the useful point in the ear and follow you to stimulate these points at the home between the treatments. Do consult acupunturist Recently, I found a site http://www.stop-smoking-guru.com .It has a lot of useful information regarding quitting smoking. Basically  it contain an e-books describing a proper procedure for quitting, and it's harmful impacts.

hmmmm....maybe cold turkey exercise is just going straight to extreme exercise like heavy weights, or jogging or 5 days a week at the gym instead of gradually working up to that.

That's kind of what I did 12 months ago when I went to a personal trainer. He trained me really hard for 1 hour 3x/week and put me on a low carb, high protein diet at the same time. It was *extreeeeeme* for me (I felt like I was on one of those 'biggest loser' shows!) but it worked a treat and because I was being supervised closely, I didn't get injuries.

That was just before my dx and with all the surgeries I had last year, including hysterectomy, I haven't been able to return to the extreme training. I really miss it and am finding it hard to get my motivation back consistently. It really helped when I had a bodybuilder trainer who looked like a greek god - I never missed one training session! LOL

I quit cold turkey 5 years ago.  It was hard. I joined weight watchers so I wouldn't put on the weight everyone talks about, it helped me get into shape, lost 27 pounds and put my cigarette money to good use.  Good luck
