Silly Question- Echo with Implants

I will be having an Echo in Mid April to see if my PFO closure in my heart Is sealed well.

When I had my last Echo It was before my BLM.  And they were able to push my breast up & out of the way or whatever to get the transducer (?) where it was needed.  It sure hurt my Ribs though.

Anyway.  Now I have Sailine Implants that dont move at all when I lay on my Back.

Are they going to cause Problem for them to do a Good Echo Study?

Thanks,

Pam

I went for an Echo instead of a Muga test and I was about 2 weeks out from just getting expanders and I warned the tech first and he was able to get the views.  I just did a lot of repositioning and breathing.  Make sure you tell him/her that you do not want him pressing hard on your chest.

Just in case you still see this in time, I had several echos with an immovable implant.  Often the tech would shoot straight down at the heart from the "V" notch where the collarbones meet above the sternum.  Or she would drop down part of the table to get more underneath my ribs.

    It was always possible.
