JerseyMaria needs our prayers!!!
Okay ladies, we have another sister in trouble! JerseyMaria has mets that progressed to later stages. She is deteriorating and has no one to help her. She went to her gastro doctor and he told her she is basically starving to death!
I just talked with her and she was so scared, distraught, depressed. She can't drive anymore, her husband is handicapped and she is struggling with everything.
She got an infection from the stints they had to insert in her bile ducts because the tumor had obstructed them. This landed her in the hospital during the holidays. She is having radiation treatments but isn't stable enough to take chemotherapy yet.
Now as her cancer advances she is retaining fluid and she is confused about if she should be talking to hospice and then freaks out about the fact that she might even need hospice.
Her family is not really there for her to lean on and she is relying on friends to get her to treatments, grocery store, etc.
We are her family and she needs our prayers and words of encouragement.
God Bless you sweet Maria!

Maria ~ I am scared too, but we will continue to lean on the Lord, for He has all the strength in the world! I pray your doctor's use the gift the Lord gave them to help you!

Maria, I am praying that you would have wisdom in what is the right thing at the right time for you. May the doctors know what is best and may the treatment be effective. I'm thankful you have the help of some friends. I've heard hospice is wonderful and may take up some of the burden you are carrying if they feel you need them. My sister thought their support was beyond anything she could have asked for. Whoever or whatever is available to help you, let them help. So sorry you are struggling and know that you continue to be on my prayer list of dear sisters here.

Maria, I am lifting you up in prayer right now!
Heavenly Father, my Lord and Savior, we love You so much and we are not worthy of You or Your blessings, yet You give them to us freely. Lord, it seems like all we do is come to You when times are tough, or people are hurting, but Lord God, today we come first to give You all the praise and all the glory for everything in our lives. All the good and all the bad, because Lord God, even in bad, You are in control and You are our shield, our sword and are always victorious.
Jesus, we need a victory for Maria. Lord God she needs You, even if only a touch from You just so she can feel Your presence. Jesus, I ask You to wrap Your loving and strong arms around her and her family right now. Please give them all a peace and comfort that only You can give. Lord, I ask You to touch her body and heal her. Touch her doctors, and her caregivers to give them guidance to help her and to do Your work of healing.
Lord God, nothing is too big for You and nothing is impossible for You and sweet Jesus, we run to You for mercy and grace to be draped across Maria right now. Please let her feel the love here on these boards, let her use Your strength to fight this disease as her strength is gone. And God, give us Your words to say to Maria as my hearts desire is for You to use me in everyway.
We love You, we thank You and most of all, we give You all the praise and all the glory for everything You are doing in Maria's life and the lives of the women here on this board.
In Jesus' sweet, precious, holy name I pray these things, AMEN.

God in Heaven, Healer of bodies and spirits, please pour out your Holy Spirit on our sister, Maria. Please give her your strength and guard her mind. Please do not let her suffer alone. We beg you, Father, send her someone to hold her hand, to help carry the load today. Merciful Father, we know that there is a Day coming where there will be no more tears or sorrow but our weak flesh-minded bodies need your help daily to feel good. Please help us to remember that You are there for us, that Your Son suffered for us and died that we may plead our case to you. Please help Maria this day and help us all as strive to be good citizens of the Kingdom to come. In Jesus Name, Amen.
