Adjuvant online?

I entered my statistics into the new adjuvant online programme and my outcome is less positive. Perhaps it's because I don't know what the percentages mean underneath all the details about therapies and grades etc and don't know what to enter. If anyone can explain I'd be grateful. Thanks in advance

Hi Lynette,

You could ask the nurse or you oncologist to help you do the Adjuvant on line.  Just looking at your info, you seem to have better odds than most of us.  It is just shocking when you look at a number indicating your mortality.  It is a number no one really wants to see.  Just by getting breast cancer, we have already lost the number game.  Don't let your odds destroy you; it is just a number.  Each case is unique and there is still so much not understood about breast cancer.  We all do the best we can and hope.

The adjuvant was one of the first things I did online after I got my pathology report, I gues it helped me feel like I was doing the right thing by doing chemo.

What I don't like about adjuvent online is that it doesn't show the sum of non-treatment survivors, chemo survivors and hormone treatment survivors combined.  So the pie chart or bar graph shows you say (for example and I'm making up these numbers) 25 survive without treatment 10 years, 25 survive because of chemo and 25 because of hormone therapy.  Why doesn't it show you 75 for instance if that's what you entered as treatment choice?

can anyone log in on adjuvant online?  I went there, but it seemed like you had to be an oncologist or other medical practitional to have access.

Would love to know if anyone successfully bypassed that registration page on their own.  I'm curious as to what kind of stats are available for me to see in there..

this cancermath website...seems very Adjuvant. I wish they would take into consideration radiation ect. Since studies have proven that woman do benefit longterm from radiation wether they had a lumpectomy or mastectomy. To me all these "online cancer calculators" or so vague. They can give you a rough idea and thats about it.
