You need filters on your computer, Linda - lol.

Sorry after all that, they didn't show the tree lighting.

No, this is not spicy at all.   I hate spicy food!  It's a fishy noodle dish with shrimp, scallions, bean sprouts, and tofu.  Its realllllllllllllllllllllly good!

Hello TOL friends!  First, I love phad thai but we must have it different here.  While you can have shrimp, it is almost always chicken.  Yum, yum, whatever it is.

Sheila - can I go too?  I will buy flip flops for everyone :)

Sandy - hope your SE's stay away, that your sandwich is great, and that you get a bone scan for your worries.

Deb - you are doing some big traveling this year!  First for Christmas and then a wedding in London!!!  Maybe they could coordinate the weddings so we can all go to both!

Chris - what did you learn today at pre-surgical meeting?  When is surgery?

Oh - I just had the physical and bloodwork. Haven't heard that there were any issues. I wasn't expecting any. BP was 120/70...she said my heartrate was low on the EKG. I think it's the elliptical that caused that. But if that's true, then I'm not happy with the 120 systolic. If exercise is lowering my BP, that number should be lower...

Now that college apps are done, we've moved on to planning for the senior prom.  DD didn't go to junior prom.  Didn't want to be with friends slobbering all over their boyfriends among other reasons.  But she wants to go this year.  She's been having a problem with our neighbor boy.  He likes her and last year spent the second half of last school year following her to all her classes.  He doesn't try to see her outside of school, though.  She used to try to find different ways to try to avoid him - taking different stairwells, etc.  DH offered to talk to his father, but she said no.  Finally, she couldn't take it anymore and told a teacher who told guidance and the principal and they met with her and then met with him the Friday before Memorial Day.  Principal said he had done that to a girl the year before!   Ugh.  And poor DD suffered half the year trying to avoid him.  So after that, she said she would just get glares from him in the hallway.  BUT he's been doing it again this year.  It's awkward - you don't want to be mean and tell him to totally go away or ask the principal to talk to him again - but you don't want to be followed around all day either.  So when they announced the date of the prom, she panicked, afraid he would ask her.  I told her if he did to tell him she was going with someone already.  But she went one step further and texted her ex-boyfriend, who she has stayed friends with, and asked him if he would go with her.  He said yes - if he's going to be home from school (he's a freshman in college.)  I told her they are usually done in May so he should be home.  So this should be interesting.  She already has a dress picked out.  She found it her sophomore year.  It still exists.  So now I'm trying to find a store that will alter it if I order it through them.  High School drama - gotta love it.

He just lacks some social skills.  Most people would take the hint -especially when he asked her out and she declined - and move on.  He's a bit of a loner.  Sometimes my DS and he would hang out and play video games and DS often walks home from school with him.  School doesn't think the situation is dangerous - he just doesn't really understand social cues.  And we don't want to be mean and come right out and tell him to get lost.  Plus since he and DS are friendly, it's even touchier.  So frustrating.

I didn't realize what that was a picture of at first.  I have something like that for showering.  I'm thinking this for hobbling around in the rain/snow...   I've been procrastinating about ordering it - afraid it won't work, somehow, and then I'll have to try to return it. I hate having to mail things back.

Hey Blondie.................I'm here..................dealing with the insurance company about the Femara..........next year it is not going to be on formulary........did get the ok from Aetna to stay on it though .....my MO called and said "no substitutions"...............however it is so expensive (which I knew before going on it, but didn't want the generic) and because of the cost, I reached the "gap" and now the co-pay has doubled.................however, I do have 30 left which will take me through Dec.................I begin again in Jan, with the New Year.

Problem, next year Femara co-pay will cost me $170.00 every 3 months, but the total cost for Aetna, and me is $900.00,  This means by Oct. of next year, I will be in the "gap" again, and still have 3 months left needing the drug..............at that point because of the "gap" it will then cost me almost $500.00 for the 3 months left, till another year begins.

Pain in the ass.........I really don't want to try the generic......I'm doing ok, on the Brand......not great, but ok.........too many horror stories about the generics that are out there..........but if necessary I will try a generic for a month to see if what SE's I have get any worse, or if I get some I didn't have before................what bullshit............................so that is what I have been doing, on the friggin phone, instead of enjoying myself reading all the great posts from my ladies...............

Hope your doing ok.............hugs..........................how about those damn Eagles...good Lord.
