Good Morning and Happy Mother's Day! I hope you all have a wonderful day.
(((((Sheila))))) HAPPY BIRTHDAY! I will be thinking of you and hoping you are having a nice day!
-
Diane, will your book be out in about 8 months?
I thought I wanted to be grandma, but have been toying with other names
Grandmama was one. Me-ma was another. I could go for Grammeece! Baby Boo's daddy tried to call me by my name a couple times, it came out Mameece.
-
Good Morning.
Thank You for being my friends. I love you all.
Happy Mothers Day all♥♥♥♥♥♥
-
I think Me-ma is close to Me-me but when it was presented to me as an option, it was pronounced -Me-Maw, sounding like Hee-Haw. The other option tendered was Bubbie - given the reason I am on this board, I don't think I want to be referred to that way.
My book will be out in perhaps 7 months or less - I think the publishing date is mid-November.
Happy Day All!
-
HAPPY BIRTHDAY SHEILA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HOPE YOU ARE HAVING A GREAT DAY!
Happy Mothers Day to all too. RCG, do you know when Grandmothers Day is?
-
I have 17 pages of PM's. This will be interesting because before I delete them I have to read and always keep the special ones.
I can hear how excited you all are about this breaking news.

Time to sing lalalalalalalalala

Grandmothers Day is on September 11, 2011
-
happy Grandmothers day to all of those who *might* be a grandmother!
-
Anyone hear of Chicken Amaretto? I had it at the Glenview, DELICIOUS! Two boneless chicken breast sauted with almonds and peaches.
Hope everyone had a nice day, I did.

-
Good Morning! Hope you are all doing fine today.
Sheila, is BBB still over celebrating the day after your bday?? Did you make him breakfast? Or better yet, did he make you breakfast!
-
Good Morning.
It's me and my coffee.
Another beautiful day. Cousins are coming to visit my father and they want to take me out for lunch.
-
Sounds like a nice day. Enjoy!
-
So are you going Shiela? Just sitting playing on the puter, boys are in school.....Happy Monday!!
-
I don't think we have ever been this quiet before.....has the east coast fallen into the ocean? lost power?
-
Have been busy with the kids. Remember when? I'm guessing in about 8 months you will remember!
Good Morning!
-
My new job has been keeping me busy. The sun stays up longer so I spend more afterwork time in the garden. Then it takes so much time to read and catch up there's little time to post.
-
I am doing my garden now, vegetables. I built a fence yesterday to keep the rabbits out. Everytime I plant something they eat it! I'm hoping the fence will work. I only planted 3 things yesterday to test it and they haven't eaten them yet. Remember Caddyshack? That's me with bunnies!
-
Good Morning
I really want to plant carrot. I envy when i see people pulling the carrot from the dirt.
This weekend I will start cleaning my little yard.
My grapefruit plant is not doing well. IT didnt produce any new leaves yet.

Anyone grew watermelon/ Just for the fun of it

-
Varmints. Do you have your uzi ready for deployment?
Bunnies are cute and funny to watch. But I wouldn't be happy with them eating my plants!
-
We tried growing watermelon once. I didn't know how to know when it was ripe! We got a couple. they didn't grow to be very big. They take a long time to grow though - 120 days maybe?
-
Watermelon needs a long, hot summer. I've often wondered of the "newer" personal size melon would develop in a shorter season?
-
I've grown watermellow and the deer and bunnies and moles, voles, skunks, fishers etc LOVED THEM!!! My kids like to play target practice with the animals. I used to get so mad at them, now I am mad at the animals!
I''m planting super sweet cherry toms, roma and beefstake toms, peppers, brocolli, zuchini and butternut squash. I also have basil and scallions.
Waiting for the man to come and fix my well......there goes another thousand.:(
-
Ouch.
-
Do you think the problem in the well is caused by those that have been put in the septic tank?
I have planted my herbs so far - can't think of anything typical that we didn't include. Spent yesterday looking at tomato setups but haven't decided yet because DH wants them in the front for all the sun but that is our FRONT and he doesn't see why the metal stakes and falling tomatoes wouldn't look beautiful out there. This after we have spent the last five weekends making the front yard beautiful....
