Thinking Out Loud.....

Oh, well that started during chemo because of immunity concerns - no way they could wipe everything at the gym....I will let it go as long as they are willing. They have never done this before so I feel very lucky.
-
I would, too. It would certainly motivate me.
-
I wish I could make them do their own laundry - but I don't want to have to go out and buy them all new clothes after they ruin them! My DS did iron his own jeans this morning. I air-dry pants most of the time so they don't shrink and they are too wrinkled to wear without ironing. But then as he was getting ready for school, I realized they were the ones that are too short! He doesn't care, but his sister and I do. Made him change at the last minute. It's an adventure.
I need a personal trainer to get me off my lazy behind. Gotta get back on that elliptical. But I haven't been on it in a couple months- I'm sure I've lost all my conditioning from the summer. Bummer.

DD is going to cook the Salmon tonight, I will let you know if I like it.
RCG~that was too funny about the cream. I don't have sons, only 1 DD so when she got older she did her own clothes. BUT, during her middle school years she drove us crazy with the GUESS JEANS, Benetton clothes and champion sweatshirt, had to have the best or be chastised at school. Had to be in with the in crowd. When she thinks about that now she comments on how dumb that was. A lot of the girls that would make fun of you if you didn't have named clothing are either druggies now and losers.

Oh, I almost forgot, her gyn has scheduled her for a mammo Jan 18th.
-
It's the same today, Deb. Only it's Abercrombie, etnies, dc etc.....just different brands.
My youngest got a hair cut today because I made him. He has LONG hair. I told the barber to trim it and clean him up. After about 10 minutes of me saying WTF in my head, I took my son out of the barber chair and walked out. He butchered the poor kid! My son was crying, I felt so bad. Luckily I have a friend who is a barber/stylist so I drove directly to her house. She wanted to know why he had a mullet! He looked like Shaun Cassidy. She fixed it, thank God. He's still really mad and looks kinda funny because his hair is short. Okay, it's still long but very short for him.
I had salmon and AG tonight with sweet potato fries! YUM!
Glad she's taking care of her self, Deb!
-
Awww. Poor kid. Sorry the barber did that to him. Glad your friend could fix it for him.
I loved Shaun Cassidy when I was 12. Da do run run run, da do run run. What was that about?
-
Hi Linda...I had AG, SP and leftover piece of chicken. Sorry about the hair crisis
