Do you leave them outside all winter?
I would like to start a Hydrangea plant. But sometimes they grow too big, have no space for it.
I hope they do good, why shouldnt they?
I have to look around for perennial plants. Annuals are nice but all that work and beauty dies before Thanksgiving.
-
If you get one that is hardy in your zone.
-
We are zone 5 & 6.
-
me I am zone 6, lol....raining here for alot of the day...weekend is over, school is almost over, baseball is almost over.....summer is here!!!
-
Thanks for the info Deb.
Hi Sandy. it looks like my area is zone 6. Of course Im not talking about my head. hahaha
-
I think I'm zone 6 too.
Good Morning Everyone! Still no sunshine.....
-
Off to Wallyworld!
-
I need to walk. Its drizzling and gray.
Good morning.
NY State government might shut down today. Nobody likes the governor Patterson which he thinks he is still doing a good job. I don't like to talk about politics but he has to go.......
Back to my issues, I'm so hungry want bacon all 1lb of it and pancakes swimming in butter, home fried potatoes and everything else................
Let me make my oatmeal and stop fantasizing.

Sheila,
When my kids are grown and gone, I am moving in with you. We are going to live on food from another country, bacon, bacon, and more bacon, pancakes and butter, bacon, more food from that same country, although perhaps we could get some from Thailand too, bacon and home fried potatoes and everything else (covered in bacon).
I hope you don't mind but I will have to bring my husband along. Don't worry, he likes bacon too!
Linda
PS at least I walked today.
-
Linda...You made my day. I was laughing so hard tears were coming out.
There are lot of another country food. any country I eat it.
I'm starving. Natalie's friend called before she made too much food and was asking her and me to go over there. When I heard french fries and other stuff I just lied and said just finish my dinner.
After the mammo if I need a celebration, I'm getting other country's food and stuff my face. I don't care.
-
Yes bring your husband. we make 3lb of bacon, pound each
-
Making Shepards Pie.
-
I love Shepards Pie.
I want shepards Pie.
I need to eat Shepards pie now.
-
LOL!!!! You are cracking me up. I bet Shepards Pie would taste good with bacon crumbeled on top of it!
You should get another countrys food and celebrate your clean mammo. Maybe I'll get some too, to celebrate your mammo!
It just down poured here. I just got in from my walk and the heavens opened up!
-
OMG...Bacon on Shepard Pie. I wish it was bed time so my brain will calm down.
I tried to play some games even there they are talking about food.
Yes. We will declare Wednesday National Day of eating other country's food.
I need apple pie with vanilla ice cream and 2 big bars of imported milk chocolate.
Let me have a glass of water. I'm drooling.
-
Did you leave your willpower in Hawaii?
-
No...This happens to me sometimes. Tomorrow will be a better day.
Willpower is there but my stomach doesnt understand it. LOL
-
I will move in with her now.....kids can go live with the siblings, lol!!!! Glad everybody is ok!!!!
-
Okay...I survived the night.
Sandy...stop by anytime.
Good Night!
-
Good morning. Only 2.5 days of school left for my youngest. My oldest has another week (thank God!)
-
Did I say that I am an empty nester?
I have to keep saying it because I waited so long!!!
What "other country's" food are you talking about, I am a late-comer and musgt have missed it.
-
Good Morning.
Meece..Let me explain the "Other Country"
It's not an old joke if you go couple pages back (I try to find it for you) you can see that I cant mention Chinese Food because Linda gets too excited
so I used the word Another country's food. And that's it.
I love my Daughters very much. But I also like my empty nest, I don't feel its empty.
Close relationship with Daughters is very important and I have that. I love my privacy.
The crisis is over. I thought about food so much last night that today i don't even to eat.
-
LOL!! Meece???? Are you an empty nester?? Did I mention I am a tad bit jealous??
YOU HAD TO MENTION IT!!!!!! I hope to forget what you two are not talking about in the next few minutes.
And remember Sheila, your nest will only be empty until DH and I come to live with you. I may not even tell the kids where we are going. And we will bring bacon.
-
Do I miss DS? Of Course. Do I miss the frustration of having to tell him to clean up after himself? Not at all. Do I miss that unmistakable teenage boy aroma wafting from his room?
^%$# NO!!!!
-
Meece....Now the word EN will be out of our little thread. Until Linda experiences it herself.
Deb is an EN too. LOL
Something happened to me before. I was sitting and fantasizing about Italian Food like manicotti stuffed with spinach or cheese, garlic bread etc. 5 minutes later my neighbor upstairs brings me lasagna stuffed with cheese and eggplant,
Yes..I ate it.
I feel little falling out the wagon coming my way.
I cant do this to myself.
I cant do this to myself.
I cant do this to myself.
It took me 6 months to loose 16 pounds.
Slap, slap slap slap.
Feel better now.
-
You were probably smelling the lasagna as your neighbor was baking it.
-
That's what I was thinking Meece. Good for you SHeila! Food always tastes better when someone else cooks it.
You will get your will power back. You're probably still in vacation mode.
EN! LOL!! I've got many many years before that happens. My youngest is 11.
I got to go for a ride on the motorcycle tonight. The weather was perfect!
-
I want that neighbor!!! Have an appt with oncologist. tomorrow just a check in apparently every 6 weeks now, maintenance as they call it, and hopefully with the Femara the tumor will shrink and lymph nodes will shrink and the nodules on the lungs will go away, guess that is what they are hoping, who knows. have appt with a dr. cause have something going on with my left heel don't know if it is heel spurs but don't think so. Sandy
-
