I just mowed the lawn. Very windy out there!
-
Sunny, windy, warm.
So you already did your morning exercise.
Im making some eggs now.
-
Yes, but I will get some more. We have baseball this afternoon and I walk the track while my son practices. He has a game after.
I love eggs!
-
Is that your 4 miles walk.
Eggs were good. then i had one little container of blackberries. They were yummy.
I know I said didn't want to go to any store. But I'm buying and returning because I cant make up my mind. So far I really have 4 new tops.
What I bought from Macy's (black Top) yesterday is going back after my vacation.
Maybe or most probably I will go to Target Shopping center which is only 10 minutes bus ride.
Enjoy your walk.
-
Enjoy Target. I love Target!
-
I didnt go. Took a long walk instead.
Before that I went to Vegetable store, I sadly announce that our precious AG wasnt there.
They had 3 bunches very thick (dont like those) maybe 10 in a bunch for 2.99.
Hoping this is a temporary setback.
-
I just dropped by to see what the scoop was on the AG. I am with your Seyla, the thinner the better. I hope when you find the farm, it already has AG growing. You know it take a good 2-3 years after the first planting before you get to harvest the gems! DH looked up on the internet, and it said that it takes approximately 5 plants to supply one person, that means 12 plants and three persons (like I have) just won't cut it. I will have to supplement with store bought fresh AG.
-
It's funny to see AG growing! I'll leave it at that.
Welcome Meece!
Sheila, you are looking more and more like AG everyday!
Just got home from the baseball game. We played the number 1 team and lost. 9-8, so not to bad!
I can't wait for the warmth to get here!
-
well I was in petites and it was busy and I bought sunglasses which I am addicted to 2nd pair in 2 weeks, but they were on sale and 25% off and then our 20% and macy money who I paid about 7.00 for 35.00 glasses, come on can't beat that...sorry that he lost, George got thrown off the team not sure why....called the coach, but george has a big mouth.....you all are too funny talking about AG and the growing, lol...you guys so make me laugh....plans for the weekend?
-
I think we should all meet at an AG farm for the weekend!
-
Linda is very good just looking at my avatar, she knows if I'm happy, or lost weight or beautiful.....lol
All big businesses started with few women now their company is making millions. You never know.
Sandy $7.00 thats a good deal.
Hey Meece..I wonder if Joni stopping here to understand me better. hahahahaha
She is the one who asked "Why I was an Asparagus and I refer this thread so she could really understand. I forgot Joni's screen name Eph-??????????
-
The thinner the more tender.mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
My father planted horseradish years ago and I can not get rid of it. I have to do something with my rhubarb it is getting bigger every day, don't want the seed heads to come up.
How can you get rid of those disgusting earwigs?
-
Deb....Is that the actual size of the beast? I never seen them before and you know I had my share of visiting animals. So tomorrow DD leaves for Turkey? My both DDs and their friends dont understand why I dont want to go and visit my aunt which i almost did last summer. To me i was born and raised there until I was 20 years old. I dont have the need to see the place where I lived.
For them its like they have to go. Now Natalie says she wants to go to Egypt.
English is spoken almost everywhere, so French and German.
-
WTH!!! Going to bed now, lol, have a good one!!
-
Thinner is better, definitley,
I have no idea how to get rid of ear wigs. Have you asked Dr. Google? Maybe you could feed him some horseradish??
Sheila, You have never been back? I will take you some day. Do they have AG there?
Good night Sandy!
-
No AG there. at least when I left there was none..
They have the most meatiest artichokes. they even clean it for you.
-
They are about an inch long and they eat holes in your flowers.
Yes DD is leaving tomorrow around 7 pm. Half of the trip is vacation and the other half is work. She will be gone for almost 3 wks.
-
I love artichokes! I gew up eating them all the time and everyone thought we were crazy! YUM!!!
Goodnight!
-
Its nice to be young and know how to live your life. Its wonderful.
Flying time is almost the same as Hawaii. Istanbul is 10.5 hours away non stop. Hawaii is 10 minutes longer.
Why crazy/ artichokes are very good for you, i believe its very high in GAS worse than AG.
Good Night♥
-
My dad was a school teacher in the town that i grew up in. EVERYONE knew him. He also owns a shoe repair business in the same town. He's a popular guy. When he was teaching he would tell all the kids about artichokes. They thought he was crazy and funny. People still come up to me and say "Oh yeah. your dad used to tell us about the artichokes you all ate". I don't know why others didn't eat them, but we sure did!
Good Morning. Can I go back to bed now?
-
My boys and I love artichokes, On our honeymoon DH and I went to a restaurant that was known for their artichokes, so I convinced him to get one for us. He at a couple of leaves, but I got the rest of it. He just doesn't understand it. I have a recipe where you stuff between the leaves. Some day I will try it.
-
I stuff between the leaves! LOL!! That sounds................I'll leave it alone! I put whole wheat bread crumbs, grated parma cheese and some italian spices. Use a teaspoon and load up the leaves. Top with olive oil................yum................
-
Okay i wont pretend as much as I love ARTI (new abbr) its little time consuming but if someone cooks for me will eat it every day. My DD used to stuff and bake it when she was still living here.
Good Morning. Meece so glad you joined our little corner. AG brought us together. Hahahaaaa!
Tonight I feel like a piece of steak and a baked potato with avocado salad.
To be continued.....
-
Im still lazy. I need to move my butt and scrub the floor
or not.
It looks beautiful today. Hey maybe a nice walk to the park is in order or not.
Maybe i should go to the vegetable store see if they have any you know what.
Heeelp!!!!!!!!
-
Just got back from Target and am going for a walk soon. It's beautiful out!
You should go to the vegetable store and browse. Say hello to the AG for me!
-
Where is everybody.....checking in bbl, you all probably either eating artichokes or asparagus or planting them in a garden or at produce junction looking for them....it is the weekend....plans? Mine hockey, softball, work, hockey, work....in that order..
-
Just got in from the farm. The AG and artichokes are doing well! LOL!
Baseball tomorrow, sleep overs tonight. Hopefully a motorcycle ride in between! Why are the sleep overs always at my house???????????????????
-
I used to ask the same question?
The answer was because our house was cozy and comfy.
All their friends had big houses, multiple bedrooms, and we lived in a 1 bedroom co-op apartment.
I'm glad you took care of the farm today. We should take turns.
I stayed home and scrub the floor on my knees, cleaned the stove etc..... I don't want to live the house dirty. I packed some more now I'm really ready. I even weigh the suitcase it is 38 pounds so far. It will never exceed 50 pound limit.
My carry on is light I didn't weigh it but it cant be more than 20 pounds.
-
Carry on's can weigh as much as you want. I used a carry on bag and a back pack. I never check baggage, but them again I hardly ever travel. When Kurt and I went on our honeymoon, our luggage and gifts never made it home with us. I'm stillw aiting for it, 19 years later! LOL!
I can't believe you will be leaving us oon. I'm going to miss you!! Ican't wait for you to come back and have a facebook page. LOL!! Hint, hint!!
You can tend the fame tomorrow while I am at the baseball game.
It's always at my house. God better have a special place in heaven for
me!
♥☻♥
-
Im checking one and the carry on has some light clothes in it.
I have to have some room if I buy somethings there. I hate to carry it but I refuse to pay $35.00 for the second bag. The first one is $23.00 if paid on-line, which is fine.
I never went away for 3 weeks so I have some extra clothes.
The farm will be taking care of tomorrow, under 86 degree hot and humid day.
Are you having the same weather there?
