Thinking Out Loud.....

It's a simple recipe, just slice a few zucchini & summer squash saute in a skillet with EVOO until tender add sliced onions mushrooms and after it is done and still hot sprinkle parm cheese over it until it is melted. I don't always put the parm cheese on it. I add herbs and sea salt and pepper.

-
Onion and mushrooms/ do you add them raw.
Thats my kind of food.
-
Sounds good Deb! I will try that.
Good Morning! Wet and wild here!
-
Good Morning
Today I have to cook all the vegetables.
Get some fish. Do wash.
I'm really not in the mood for a walk today.
First things first have to drink my coffee now. Usually I make more sense after.
-
Have fun cooking. I will be ellipticalling again since the weather is crappy.
We have a buig Cub Scout dinner tonight. My son is crossing over from a Cub scout to a Boy scout. His older brother is making fun of him. Meany!
-
good almost evening, boys at baseball practice and I am hanging waiting to go get them...still never went to walmart!!! BBL guys!!
Sandy
-
Go to Walmart!!! How's the wrist?
-
You can throw everything in the skillet all at once.
Chinese tonight.
I love being in the scouts. I still remember the fun camping times in NH.
-
Did you have to mention Chineese??
-
I treated myself with 1.5oz size Dove Milk Chocalate. 5 little squares was soooo good.
Sandy...How is your son doing?
Linda...I LOL when I read your older one is making fun of him. Brought back memories.
It was very chilly and windy today. I just walked to the corner to pick up few things. I had to put my hood on. I think we got spoiled last week.
-
Sheila,
That's what older brothers do. On the way home from the ceremony tonight, my son said he doesn't think he wants to continue with scouts. We told him it was his decision. I secretly wanted to high five my DH when my son said that!! Am I a bad parent? He does so much with sports and froends, I could use a little break!
I tried to post pics but it didn;t work. I will do it on Facebook. Sheila, you can go there and look at the pics.......oh yay, you can't. How's that facebook page coming along?
-
Thanks for asking he is fine, we went to Red Lobster, yea, Lobsterfest...I want to look at the pix too!!! Nope not a bad parent, a taxi driver is what you are. Awesome that he told you....
Plans for the weekend ladies.....me...working tomorrow 12 -9 in Bridal

Linda... With girls there are other issues. younger one liked to borrow her sisters clothes, and sometimes she used to leave it other friends houses.
Finally there was a big sign on the closet. "Nobody can open my closet except my mother"
When they got older it wasn't a problem except when Natalie was borrowing Christine's sweaters because she was stretching them.
Now they are as close as 2 sisters can be.
Go and post at FB maybe someone can describe the picture to me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Im waiting for Christine or Joe to do it for me.
-
No you are not a bad mother. They have enough sports and outings.
You are great parent.
-
I have never been to a Red Lobster!! I would love to. Anything with Lobster in the name must be good!! I'm glad he is doing fine!
Sheila, I have the same issues with the boys. My almost 15 year old is rather small for his age and my 11.5 year old is very large. So, my 11 year old steals all my 15 year olds "cool" clothes!! Belts, body sprays etc. UGH!! I'm glad your daughters turned out to be friends. I can only hope that for my boys!!
Thanks for the vote of confidence!
-
The last pic is a piece if cake with my sons pic on it! Hopefully you can see them
Linda
-
Thank You, Thank You and Thank you.
Yes I can see them. the middle picture is it you?
Linda my aunt used to tell me watch one day they will be 2 close sisters. Meanwhile never mind closeness I just wanted them to be civil with each other.
As they grew older like 20s, they became so close to each other. You can see the love.
Last summer Natalie went to Hawaii for 12 days. I think the distance is really bothering them.
As a mother seeing the DDs so close sometimes I get mushy happy mushy.
-
Yes, that's me in the middle. Horrible pic. I hate my pics not that I am heavy from the tamox!! UGH!!
Great story about your DD's My sisters (4 of us) were the same way. once we started leaving for college, things changed. We liked each other!! The when I was DX, they really wouldn't leave me alone. I had to tell them to knock it off, I was NOT dying!!
-
You don't look heavy maybe little meaty but you look healthy and very young.
-
LOL!! Thanks!!
Going to bed now! Talk to you all in the morning!
Linda
-
Good Night
-

-

Sandy
-
Have fun with those brides!!
-
I'm up. Good Morning.
I had plans to jump in a bus a go to Walmart, but now Im not very sure.
I guess its okay if I just stay home and be unproductive.
What are your plans Linda?
Where is Deb?
-
My kids have friends over, surprise, surprise! So I will stay around the house and get some cleaning done.
Deb has been swallowed up by facebook!
If you go to Walmart, look around, maybe you will see Sandy there!
-
It is addictive but I was busy cleaning the mud room, that's if you can clean a mud room, LOL.
Washing the windows and dusting the cob webs from over the winter.
I'm going to have something to eat, leftover Chinese food, Egg foo yung. (sp)
Then go shopping.
DD is visiting Nick (her BF) in Bermuda, little stinker. lol
-
You are not allowed to talk about Chineese Food on this thread!!
Sounds like a busy day, kinda like mine. I got rid of cob webs too!
Hope your DD is having fun, I'm sure she is! What a life!
-
