Good Luck to day SHeila. Please report back to us ASAP!!
-
Are you home yet???? How did it go?
-
I'm home. did some vegetable and fruit shopping after.
Now the waiting starts for TM blood work which it should come by Wednesday.
My DR tells me if I don't call you by Wednesday I don't want you start panicking.
Well I asked him about TM test what were my numbers. He said its nice and steady no up and downs.
So thats my update.
I almost bought the ticket last night for Hawaii. My DR things I shouldn't wait and book it.
But Im not a gambler, so I wait ,hoping the prices remain low for another 3 days.
-
Book it!! Glad to hear it went well. My dr. wont even test for TM's!!
-
He is still seeing me in 4 months.
VD level wasn't a concern for him.
i have a mammogram coming in June, he already gave me the slip for it.
It was so windy today, at least I walked its about 1.5 miles RT from my home to the DR office.
Oh one more thing after 5 years they can use my right arm for Blood drawing and anything else.
-
Great! It's 5 years this year, right??
-
Yes. I will do DD and my wash now, maybe not
See you all later.
♥
-
DD??
-
I meant my daughter's wash and mine mixed together.
-
LOL!! Now I get it! Can I drop my laundry off too? How is she doing? Adjusting well?
-
She seems to be okay. She loves to have a place at her own.
She looks fine. i told her i would do her laundry, whats the big deal. She works hard. Little extra wash wont do any harm.
How was your day?
-
Alright. I'm still ready to give my teenage son away! Just kidding, I think. Teenage years are a challenge!
I went for my walk as usual and also did 2 25 minutes sessions on my eliptical. My shoulder is killing me but it was a good workout. Tomorrow I am finally going to an orthoepedic surgeon to have him look at my shoulder/arm from the SNB.
-
i have been reading in other posts about eliptical. Of course I never asked, I know its related to exercise but what is it? Thank You Kindly.
Linda I went through so much with Natalie from age 15 to almost 17. My sweet smart DD turned to a !!!!!!!!! don't have a word for it. They were no drugs or drinking involved as much as I know, but my high honor student turned into something else. Cutting classes, not listening, answering back.
But a miracle happened and she became the sweet daughter I knew.
On the other hand Christine didn't go through any crisis, she was just whiny and miserable, I guess with the second child it gets easier.
did you always have problem with the SNB or started recently?
-
Cameron sounds like Natalie. He is a good kid, no drinking or drugs, VERY smart, just lazy!! He lost a text book a month ago, never told me so he is failing his class because he cannot do the homework. Last tern he had an A in the class, now he has an F!!
An eliptical is a machine that you run on, kind of. It had very large foot pedals that you stand on and then run. ALso has arm handles. Google it, it's hard to explain.
I've been ignoring my SNB pain for the past year or so. It's better than it was after surgery but there is nerve damage and it's painful.
-
Hi guys♥ Just got home a little while ago. My brother called me, he was at my fathers at the assisted living facility. My father is having awful muscle pain in his shoulders and neck, he said it started yesterday and he said he did not fall, that was my first question. I worry about him. He could not even undress himself my brother had to help him. He took some advil and the nurse is going to remind him to take more at midnight, I hope it gets better.
-
I hope he feels better too Deb! It is terrible to watch your parents in pain.
-
Deb..Maybe he has a pinch nerve (sp)
Does Assisted Living take care of the DR visits, I meant do they have an ambulette to drive him just in case.
-
Yes, they can call 911 and an ambulance will be there in minutes and it is only 2 miles to the hospital. I hope it is just a pinched nerve and not something bad.
-
my mother had calcification in her neck which effected other parts of her body, uncomfortable and painful.
-
I have them in my boob!
-
Does it make sounds when its pressured?
When my Mom turned her head you could actually hear some crunchy sounds lol well you know what I mean.
I googled eliptical.
-
No sounds.
What do you think of the eliptical? I burn a lot of calories doing that. I hate doing it but need to. That's why I bought it, not to use as a towel rack. LOL!!
-
Its a weird looking thing. If its helping its fine. Does it flattened the Tummy?
hahahaha I just remembered my girl friend used to use the exercise machine as a towel rack and everything else rack.
-
Most people do, I actually use mine. It's supposed to help with legs, but, waist and back. I need a miracle!
-
I use the elliptical machines at work on my break and burn 100 calories in 15 mins. At first it was very tiring, I could only do 5 mins each time then I gradually increased my time. I can do an hour now without getting winded. You can set it on all sorts of settings.
-
WOW Deb. I am ready to die after 25 minutes. I am trying to do that 2 times a day plus my walking. I have to lose weight!
-
I love bicycling, (real one) its been years since I got on one.
-
I do too!!
Good night!
-
Good Night!♥
-
Good Night♥
