Goodness, I don't know. My mom was a very good cook & involved us in the kitchen at an early age. It was probably some kind of cookie. Chocolate Chip? Sugar cookies? (my mom had some nice glasses with a star etched on the bottom; we would dip the glass in sugar, press down on the cookie & make a nice design...I hadn't thought about that for years, so thanks for bringing up a really nice memory!).
