The fastest I've ever driven legally was 75 mph on I-25 between Denver CO and Cheyenne WY. Not sure I want to admit to any moving violations on a public forum.
I had flown into DIA for a friend's wedding and rented a car to drive north. Friend said the cops hate the new higher speed limit and will give you a ticket for going even one mile over so set the cruise control at 75 and, well, cruise.

A bunch of close friends, who are also big Mets Fans. The wedding was during one of the many Atlanta Braves - New York Skanee world series, and we were all dancing around doing the Braves tomahawk chop. Guess that's what a 5 hour reception will do, with an open bar.
