Don....I was 18, he was 21. An utter control freak who bugged me to marry him constantly. Among many things, once when my car needed minor repair, he took it to a "friend" of his...kept my car from me for over a month and I know it was just to make sure I couldn't go anywhere unless it was with him. Took so long to break it off - he stalked me for at least a year afterwards (this was before "stalking" was a crime).

when I was in college. I had broken up with my boyfriend and a friend fixed me up with a 'friend of a friend'. He was a creepy, masher type who got very drunk and drooly. Luckily he passed out before he could actually attack me. I ended up walking home, late at night, in the middle of winter. Ick!

What I love about Halloween is...

it always brings back memories of Halloween when I was a kid......racing home from school to get into our costumes and hitting the streets until 10pm at night - those were the days when there was no time to quit. What booty we used to collect. Nowadays, I'm lucky to get a total of 10 kids stopping by and they're only ringing the bell for a couple of hours.
