Happy Thanksgiving to all our Canadian sisters!
In your honor I made a turkey dinner today. It is my favorite meal of all time. I can't wait for our Thanksgiving but this was wonderful, too.

This is what I'll look like by January.

Jane - LMAO! Just remember ... she's bulking up for winter where then you hibernate and wake up with one third of your weight gone ... oh, wait, that's bears. I'm sure it works for humans too.
Coonie - it is a proven fact that muscle weighs more than fat - its muscle.

All right, I just posted this elsewhere and it belongs here, too. Remember when we were all 18??? Here are my GF's daughter and her galpals.
-
Loved those days!!! Kak...thinks for the memories!!!
-
They are such a cute bunch...I remember telling myself once when I was still 18, in a moment of great clarity, that I did realize that this might be the last time I felt as free and unfettered as I did -- old enough to have some real grown-up fun, young enough not to be saddled yet with all the responsibility that adulthood brings!! Ohhhhhh, sigh.

Ethan, my cousin's son, and love of my life, lived in a neighborhood where all the kids dressed in costume (and the adults if they wanted) and take a walk around the neighborhood. Ethan was small enough that I could carry him when he got tired. He kept saying he wanted a costume with a "scary" mask and when I would point out one he would hide his face in my neck. He wanted a scary mask but just couldn't look at it.
Usually that side of the family celebrates Halloween at some campsite about a couple of hours from here. Now get this - it was where my cousin proposed to his wife - so they agreed to go there every Halloween - as a romantic overture. Then his brother, his brother's wife, the kids, and his parents all started going! Now his wife doesn't bother to go anymore.

OMG~ Those little zebras are the cutest!!! I am sorry they are crying but it did make me smile

Seems like I've been in a blah mood this week.

Or maybe just a new hairdo would work
