Coonie, no, I just thought it was cute. My son at that age sat still for nothing, and would have chased the fawn back into the woods! When I took him to a professional photographer, she had to put out legos to keep him interested in sitting. Then, when the session was over, she bent down to pick up something, and a bunch of film fell out of her jacket pocket. I helped her pick them up, and in the time it took to do this, my son was through the curtains, out of the studio, and running wild in the mall! A waiting dad saw this and chased him. He was fast, and a handful.

Miss Bianca -- I too grew up with parakeets. My dad had several bird avery's -- so my sisters and I use to 'ban' each baby bird - 3 days after hatching.

I did not take the picture .. it just reminder me of my youth.

That must have been really cool for you to see them hatch and raise them. I just tried to find you a cute baby parakeet pic, but they are naked and featherless, and well, not so cute, right away! lol
