I think KAK is just taking a break. Have emailed her, she seems to be doing okay. It is her birthday today and sounds like she has a very full day.

Pam: I also love your signature. The Good Lord asks only two things of us - to love Him and love ALL his children. That second one is hard but I am trying.
Back in the day when I was doing some management training on 'problem' employes I would teach: Call in the employee, state the behavior which causes you concern and ask for the employee's help in solving the problem For example, if an employee is late coming in on time more frequently than not - you don't know what's going on in his life. He might very well have a wife at home with MS and he has to get her up and settled and then get the kids off to school. In that case, you may discuss other options like altered hours. You don't know until you ask.
In the midst of life you tend to forget you are supposed to be loving your fellow man! Enough preaching.
