Anyone know what the stats were for Yow?

Just saw the news that Yow (woman's basketball coach) had died of breast cancer. She first had it in 1987 and then it was in remission for 17 years...came back with mets. I can't find any info on what her original stats were. I am curious what stage she was. I noticed that her mother also died of breast cancer.

NC State coach Kay Yow was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 1987 and underwent a partial radical mastectomy. Cancer recurred in 2004 and then again in 2007.

At 66 and having endured Stage IV cancer for more than two years, though, Yow has defied the odds so many times that people have higher hopes for her than they would for most anyone else.

This woman was so loved by many.  A fighter just like all the ladies on this board.

I was wondering the same thing and was scouring the internet trying to find out.  Of course, her clinical info is probably not public, but I was hoping to find something out. I also had heard/read that she was dx'd in 1987 and had a mastectomy.  A lump was discovered in 2004 and then I believe it recurred again either in 2006 or 2007.  It just freaks me out a bit since I also had a mastectomy and it has recurred as a lump in that same "breast".
