    Not TMI at all....

My oldest is now 33 and the little one is 26....Just yesterday was over to the youngest ones house and what was he doing as we walked in....Dishes ( Dish washer was running ) , cooking and using the vacuum....Plus was watching his 2 children 8 months and 2 years while his wife was working..

I always told the boys when they were young "Get with the program", now I say grow balls and be a man.... Life is not easy. And it takes 2 to run a household....I'm sure he will be teaching them . My oldest son taught my granddaughter when she turned 13. It was just passed on. For that I'm proud.

Mary-Lou ~ I applaud you for wanting your boys to be prepared!  My DH was an olny child and his mom totally catered to him!  Up until the day he moved out, at 30, she was still making his bed.  Yikes.  I have to say that he doesn't really help until absolutely necessary.  But when he does take over, everything gets done so I can't complain!  Laughing  BTW I am a stay at home mom, so I can't complain too much.

PSK, glad you liked the tortilla soup.  It is so easy and makes enough for dinner for three and lunch the next day for two.  The first time I made it I used peppers too and it thickens the next day so cut it with more broth.

Well, big news here..........we are having Subway for dinner!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I just thought that was funny!  DH is in charge of the cooking right now and that is what he wants to go out to get for dinner.  Fine with me ~ we love Subway!

Our fast food thing is Taco Bell - we get the crunchy beef tacos fresca style and I sometimes cheat with the nachos bell grande, no beans.

I was reading your post for ribs, this is a real simple Pulled Pork Recepie I use just let it cook all day, all you have to do is pull it apart a little as it starts cooking (you can use any barbacue sauce you like really -I like the one mentioned)

                           PULLED PORK - CROCK POT

    2-3LB Pork Roast

    2 Tablespoons Honey

    1 Large Onion Chopped

1.5 Bottles of KC Masterpiece Sweet & Tangy Barbecue

Mix Onion, Barbecue Sauce & Honey together.

Place pork in lightly sprayed crock pot.

Pour mixture over pork cook on low until pork entirely pulls of apart (6+ HRS)

Serve on rolls w/Baked beans and/or coleslaw.
