Any Depo Provera babies out there?

I was born in Venezuela in 1968, a Peace Corps baby. I just found out that when I was a brand new fetus fighting for my life, my mother was given 3 progesterone injections (to start her period after testing negative for pg - I may have been growing for one or more of those), had a scanty period, then tested positive for pregnancy and was immediately given 3 rounds of Depo Provera (to prevent spontaneous abortion because she was spotting.  Yeah, that's a third-world country for ya.  Depo Provera had just come out in 1967, and it took years before it got approved.  There were a lot of mistakes made during those years.

I have to wonder if this is why I got BC at the age of 39, and if it's a really good reason to go along with my doctor's suggestion of a hysterectomy/ooph next month.  I can't find any studies on the effects of DP on adults who were affected neonatally, but that's because there aren't many of us around.  But I thought there might be some in this forum.  Everyone would have to be 41 and younger.  Anyone out there....or any thoughts on the subject?
