Does anyone remember this song?
I loved it as a Young kid.
I have asked my sister if she remembered it & she didnt. I thought I must have it wrong & it really wasnt a song..
So I looked it up on Youtube...LOL
its only a short clip...But with the singer I remember. Sounds like Judy Collins or someone...Any guesses on who is singing?
Pam

pam, that is a very haunting melody, didn't it use to be on a kid show like sesame street? Will try to do some more research.

I feel so bad for Sam Bradford. He is making his final speech before surgery. He is such a good OU player and also a Christian

My Dads nickname for me is Spooky...Cause as a baby I looked like my Sisters Casper Dolls when I was in my PJs
Here is a Neat song by a Local Band. The words are good...So I will post them too.
Lyrics for "Common Mistake"
Don't know where you are
I've traveled so far
I just want you to see
What you once saw in me
I know it's been long
In this time I've grown strong
I just want you to see
What you once saw in me
Will it ever happen?
It's in your face and it's all around
If it were up to me
I would turn my world upside down
It's a common mistake
That everyone makes
You're trying to figure out why you ever left this place
It's a common mistake
That everyone makes
Well who would have known?
That in this place
You're still trying to figure out why you left alone
This time I'm going after
Everything that I've ever wanted
This time I'll show you what I can become
This time I'm going after
Everything that I've ever wanted
This time I'll show you what I can become
Things aren't so bad
They're just harder until they get better
Things aren't so sad
They're just lighter then heavier
Things aren't so bad
They're just harder until they get better
Things aren't so sad
They're just lighter then heavier than ever
It's a common mistake
That everyone makes
You're trying to figure out why you ever left this place
-no, no-
It's a common mistake
That everyone makes
Well who would have known
That in this place
You're still trying to figure out why you left alone
This time I'm going after
Everything that I've ever wanted
This time I'll show you what I can become
-and when I'm done-
This time I'm going after
Everything that I've ever wanted
This time I'll show you what I can become
Things aren't so bad
They're just harder until they get better
Things aren't so sad
They're just lighter then heavier
Things aren't so bad
They're just harder until they get better
Things aren't so sad
They're just lighter then heavier than everSOS

G'day Sherry, Sunris and Pam, I was going through my faves on Utube, when I happened on these. The first one was sent by one of my sons and I was mesmerised by the imagination which could produce something like these tracks. I think you could program young childrens music genes by playing the DVD to them when they are getting a bit rambunctious. It might make them appreciate real music a lot more than the cr@p that is blasted at them these days. At least they are better than most cartoons and video games.
