Crap Mouth

First treatment was Friday and so far nothing overly dramatic EXCEPT my mouth tastes like crud.  I wouldn't necessarily call it metallic, I just feel the need to brush my teeth constantly.  Nothing seems to make it go away.

Any advice?

Toms of Maine's mouth wash worked well for me, that and Lemon flavored water.

Try some sour lemon drops to suck on or lemonade.  Anything sour should help with the metallic aftertaste.  Also, purchase some plastic utensils to use instead of the normal metal cutlery.

Water will probably taste nasty for a few days. Try mixing in some fruit juice, gatorade, True Lemon/Lime. It helps.
