roja1955 - in need of prayers
I'm the daughter of a Met member on the site by the log-in of roja1955. She has been a member for a while, and I have been trying to learn more about this disease. She is in the hospital and her lung capacity is low. I pray the Lord's healing on her constantly. I know she is very much in the Lord's arms right now, and I know that he has such a reward for her in heaven. I am simply asking for prayer warriors to come together for my mother. She is a great woman and a strong believer. She was rushed to the E.R by my dad on Sat. and then rushed shortly after that by ambulance to a hospital 3 hrs away. I have spent the past few days with her; just being by her side. I left today, and I do feel some condemnation for it, but I won't let the devil interfere. My mother is the type of woman who would tell me not to stay...but of course it hurts to leave her side. As far as all the mothers/wives/daughters/sisters out there with this disease regardless the stage, believe me, those that love you most wish they could take your place. It breaks my heart, but I know that God is in charge. Thank you for all. God Bless everyone that is going through this and all that are affected.

lilroja, I'm sorry that all this is happening. All i can say is that with God all things are possible. If your mom is a believer than she has nothing to worry about. He is with her every step of the way. I will pray for your mom and your family. Take care of yourself and may God bless you and give you peace.
Lots Of Love, Karen

lilroja; The Lord is all around us. May he lift you all up and place you in his loving embrace. For he knows what is best for your mother. He is the mighty physican and anything is possible through him. God is good and that is where our trust needs to be. We do not understand and we may question why and that is okay to do. Just believe in him. I think it is wonderful that your mother is aware of Jesus and her relationship is strong. We just ask the Lord to lessen the pain to make her comfortable and to put the family at ease and surround them with peace. Keep your eyes upon Jesus. I will continue to pray for your family. In his name Jesus Christ. Amen
Blessings; Elizabeth

lilroja......... what a wonderful post on behalf of your mother.
I will certainly add my prayers for her care and courage during this chapter of her walk of faith. What a wonderful tribute for you to be able to make.
Your love and care is evident. What a fortunate woman she is to have your concern and compassion, thru an entire lifetime, and especially right now.
I am so sorry for your distress at needing to leave her side. I know that you carry her in your heart when you are at a distance. May you have peace. May you have peace. May you have peace.

Thank you all for your kind words.
My mother passed on New Year's Eve; the morning after I left her side...the cancer stole her breath, and she is in Heaven.
It's a rough time for all of the roja family, but we are happy she is no longer suffering. That is the only good I can find in this, besides the fact that she is in Heaven.
Thank you all...If you are wondering, I still hear her voice....

Lilroja...... My heart is with you as you begin the adjustment to the loss of your mother. You have filled your heart and mind with oodles of memories and I pray that they bring you comfort. Baking cookies together as a child, going shopping for just the right find, taking a picnic to see new sights......
Soak yourself in those wonderful times. Trust that she is at peace and fully restored to wholeness. I trust that she will be watching over you and your whole family.
We join together here to hold your family up for the healing needed at this time.
