    Birthday January 9th. Getting close to celebrate. Completed radiation 33 rounds on Thursday. Now I have 2 more chemo's 12/31 and 1/7....Then PET scan in February.  I am praying to be NED! Then that will be a true celebration.

    Sierra; I love the picture with the dolphins. It is something I wanted to do for a long time and finally did it. I had asked my onc. and she said you only live once to go for it and I did.

    I have had a long journey and in all of it God has been good to me. I am thankful for each day that is given to me. No matter how it turns out. We take so many things for granted in life and when faced with tragedy you open your eyes and realize just how precious things in life are even more so. Thank you for the light and angels.

    Happy birthday to you!! I now know birthdays are not something to scorn, but something to appreciate. They are a gift.

    I will be 46 on January 16. The start of a 3-day weekend for me (Jan 19 is MLK day). I love those holiday days off!

    Thanks you guys.  The kittens are Sphynx cats, hairless.  They are a riot. I love looking at the pictures of the pets on this site.  I'd like to post some if I could get them to sit still.

    Sierra - I didn't know we had a similar diagnosis.  I had invasive mucinous but that wasn't one of the choices when you enter the info.

    Just turned 56 on Dec 30th!  Going out tonight coz oldest son was working on the day...but did phone me before he went to work to wish me a Happy Birthday, what a guy.

     Had Chinese take out on the day with hubby, younger son and daughter and received awesome gifts from all.  AND on the 27th had friends over to take the place of Christmas get together with now estranged sisters.  Friends surprised me with gifts and a BD cake.

     I am so blessed.
