Soy and other artificial estrogens

I cannot find a loaf of bread that doesn't list soy as an ingredient, yet soy contains artificial estrogens. Nearly anything made with flour contains soy. Many salad dressings also use soybean oil as an ingredient.

Many lotions and shampoos also contain artificial estrogens.

It bothers me that I have undergone a modified-radical mastectomy, had chemo, and have taken an estrogen blocker for two years, at the same time, I getting estrogen from food and lotions and makeup.

I rarely hear anything about this.

I know what you mean.  I would love to be able to be soy free. I just realized my darn hair conditioner had soy in it! Threw it in the trash! I hate it!

If you can get Borealis bread in your area, they are great tasting - I love the multi-grain - and they have no soy of any kind in any of their breads.
