Okay, this is weird.  Biopsies in June diagnosed me with DCIS and IDC, both triple negative.  I had neoadjuvant chemo followed by a bilateral mastectonomy in November.  1/7 nodes taken was positive, and tested ER+.

How is this even possible?  Now the oncologist wants me to taken tamoxifen, but I have to wonder if it is worth it?

Anyone have different results across different tumors?

It is rare but you can have two kinds of bc at one time.  I've had numerous biopsy because all my doctor's really feel I have more than one disease.  Their thought's are I'm Her2, but I'm only showing Her2++ and they can't find enough of this expression. (true Her2 is +++) They wanted me to get into a trial for Hercepton but insurance will not pay if you are not a true Her2.  Also my bc surgeon said my disease looks very different from the two years that past between my mastectomies.

But the questions aways in the back of your mind did they do the test right the first time?  You can ask for the test to be redone.  This may give you a peace of mind.
