Hair loss with Taxotere or Ixempra?

Hello, I've been recently diagnosed with bone & liver mets. I'm thinking of joing a clinical trial randomized to either Ixempra + Xeloda, or Taxotere + Xeloda.
How much hair loss should I expect? When I was on AC I went ahead & shaved it all off, since I was 100% going to lose it all (and I did). Should I just cut it short & keep it fluffy / gelled? I get a little weirded out by the thought of big clumps of hair coming out
