Marin County BC Ladies out there?

I am curious how many BC patients are out there in Marin County, CA. I know we are rated with the highest incidence of breast cancer in the country. I'm curious who you are and what your stories are? Please share so we can learn from each other. Why are so many of us being diagnosed with BC?

I was diagnosed May 6, 2008 after finding a lump that itched. I live in Mill Valley.

Hi jobu,  I was in Mill Valley once and have to say it's an incredibly beautiful place.  I remember thinking how lucky people were to live there.  I am also interested in the Marin County lobular bc statistics.  Before diagnosis with PILC I was on HRT and also drank wine.  I think there is probably at least an increased risk with this combination.  Since the incidence statistics were so high, I think it is being studied there and I hope there are people from that area who are keeping up on the research who might let us know what else, if anything, has been learned.  I'm glad you asked and I'll check back.
