Fevers-Kidney & brain mets

I had breast cancer 4 years ago. For about 5 weeks now I have had a fever every day and just don't feel very good. I have also had many UTI with blood in my urine. The last time it was cola colored urine. A nephrologist is planning to look at it under a microscrope the next time I pass blood. Most of my blood tests are normal and my onco doesn't seem to be overly concerned and is not doing any testing. I also have a headache almost every day, usually waking up with one.  I'm concerned I may have mets in my  brain or kidney. Has anyone else had these symtoms which later developed into mets? I almost feel like the doctors are just waiting for things to develop into something more advanced before addressing it.
