Breast Cancer Benefit Event in December(NYC)

Hi everybody! 

I am working with Through the Looking Glass Theatre Group, a non-profit organization which produces plays to benefit various charitable organizations. We are putting on a play, Granny Dearest, on December 2 - 5, 2008, in Midtown Manhattan at 114 East 35th Street between Park Avenue and Lexington. Net proceeds from all four shows will be given to "Komen Greater NYC"for  further breast cancer research and awareness efforts.

I wrote the piece in memory of my granny who passed away from intestinal cancer and decided to offer the net proceeds to Komen Greater NYC after my other grandmother (age 77) was diagnosed with breast cancer.

 I would very much appreciate if you could get the word out as I would like to make sure I can raise as much money as possible for this great cause.

 At this time, we are also looking for companies to sponsor us by making a much needed donation which will help us cover some of our production costs. Through the Looking Glass Theatre Group would very much appreciate any assistance received. To show our appreciation, all sponsors will be listed as such in the Playbills for all shows. In addition, sponsors will be given complimentary ad space in the Playbills. Also, prior to the play's opening, we will be issuing a press release, and would be happy to mention our sponsors at that time. Any gifts are tax deductible, and Through the Looking Glass Theatre Group will gladly issue a receipt for tax purposes.
