Look Good Feel Better

I'm sure many of you have heard about, or attended a Look Good Feel Better class given by the American Cancer Society.

Well, in case you don't live in the US, or don't feel like attending in person (even though you get $250 worth of fun products to take home) I wanted to give a link to their site, that offers great tips for looking good through treatment.

    To all our Canadian posters:

Just wanted to add that the Look Good Feel Better classes are also available in major cities across Canada.  Never did get to one, as the classes here always conflicted with my chemo sessions, but I know they've really helped lots of women cope with no hair, no eyebrows, no eyelashes etc., as well as being a great source of camaraderie when you're feeling your lowest.

Just contact the Canadian Cancer Society for more info.  By the way, the classes have been held at Princess Margaret Hosp. in Toronto since 1992.  It was a super way for the cosmetics industry to provide support for female cancer patients (and a great marketing tool as well...!).

    Cheers, Linda
