need your help - protection of ovarian during chemo

My doctor gave me a monthly injection to protect my ovarian during chemo. I don't remember the name of the drug but a common one some sisters might had it. I wonder if that will interfere with chemo and make chemo less or more effective? Any one knows?

It was probably Lupron or Zoladex. It won't have any effect on your chemo's abilities to fight your cancer. Don't worry about that.
It just shuts off your ovaries for a while.
