Hello! My name is Catherine Davis, and I am a senior at Scripps College in Claremont, CA. I am writing a psychology thesis on the psychosocial differences of young breast cancer survivors and young women who have not had cancer. I would greatly appreciate it if you would complete my 10-minute survey. You are eligible to participate if you are a woman fifty years of age or younger. The survey is completely anonymous and confidential; you will never be asked to provide your name. By participating, you are helping to advance scientific knowledge about the long term psychosocial effects of breast cancer in young women. I would also be grateful if you might forward message on to any women fifty years or younger (breast cancer survivors or not) who might be interested in contributing to this field of research. If you would like to participate, please choose ONE of the links below: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.aspx?sm=3pYLb9mOjKa4PWtfxaI5wQ_3d_3d http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.aspx?sm=vBdtRRKo0qkousvYx7hUPA_3d_3d http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.aspx?sm=PmxG6X2Axp5NHTqQgm7ACQ_3d_3d
Thank you for your time. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions, or if you are interested in finding out more about the study. Sincerely,
Catherine Davis

Hi, Catherine. I'm actually a CMC alumn, class of '90. I'll take your survey.
Good luck with your thesis--I remember those days!

Catherine--I took the survey, and one of the pages wasn't working properly. I used the first link above, and I don't know which page of the survey it was, but it was the first page where there are a series of questions about self-esteem, with "strongly agree/disagree" buttons to chose. When I'd answer a question, the check mark for the answer on the previous question would disappear. Hope that makes sense.
