Lumpectomy - then bi-lateral mastectomy and then reconstruction

I was diagnosed 10/22/07, lumpectomy 11/1/07 (chemo and rads).  I recently went through a scare that I had a re-occurence but that definitely has been ruled -- only fat necrosis.  I am seriously thinking about doing a bi-lateral mastectomy .... and then a reconstruction (tummy tuck kind).  I just do not think that I want to go through all this again.  Besides my boob hurts all the time.  (the doc gave me Trental to help alleviate the pain and speed up the healing process).

 If you have been down this ....What has been your experience?
