The one that I know about is called Radiant Impressions--I am having bilateral mastectomies in December, and will order them during this insurance benefit year and then get cast post healing in December. The sample looked beautiful. Check out the Radiant Impression thread for info from people who already have them. I'll try to bump it up...good luck!

I saw this in a shop and they looked really nice.  But I'm wondering if you'll be healed enough to do this before the end of the year.  When is your surgery scheduled? I thought they normally say to wait 6-8 weeks for any swelling to go down before getting proths?

My surgery is sceduled December 10th...and you are right I won't be able to cast until Jan. --but I will start the process pre-surgery (existing nipple casting and pick out colors etc.) and the invoice will be 08... She says that she has had no trouble with insurance companies with this process and she routinely maximizes benefits this way. I hope she's right--but if not, I will know before I move forward...I think I would do it even in a new benefit year, but it would be nice to get something out of having maxed by out-of-pocket expenses fighting the cancer monster!

Since January 2006, I have ordered from Second Silhouette in Houston.  Wonderful shop!
